Ministries at Jerusalem Baptist Church

JBC is dedicated to encouraging and helping people face the challenges of today’s ever-changing society.

We believe good churches make better communities, so we are committed to areas that strengthen individuals to make the greatest impact for God’s glory.

  • Sunday morning bible study as well as small-group
  • Bible studies throughout the week, on-campus and off, including  Jerusalem Bible College classes for in-depth study
  • One-on-one personal discipleship
  • Corporate prayer for needs of individuals, the church, our community, the nation, and the world
  • Ministry opportunities for men and women
  • Evangelism training
  • Local and international mission opportunities
  • Women’s teas, retreats, and conferences
  • Men‘s conferences, retreats, and dinners

Children are one of our largest mission fields, so JBC works hard to help parents “train their children in the way that they should go, so that when the children grow up, they will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6).

  • Age-appropriate, Sunday morning Bible study
  • Mother’s Day Out — Weekday child care in a Christian atmosphere (20 months – 5 years)
  • AWANA (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) a fully integrated evangelism and discipleship program for children
  • SMAK (Summer Music and Activities for Kids)games, crafts, music and Bible lessons throughout the summer, culminating with a musical drama performance
  • FREE Date-Night Childcare — Frequent opportunities for community parents to go on a date while children play games, do crafts, and enjoy fellowship
  • CentriKid — Summer camp for 3rd – 6th graders

  • We work to help students to develop a Biblical world view to deal with issues such as fitting in, peer pressure, and the complexities of teenage life.
  • Sunday morning Bible study plus small-group weekly Bible studies and discipleship
  • Fun activities and outings, including retreats, conferences, and local mission projects
