Mothers Day Out offers an exciting opportunity to serve the children and families of our communnity. We know what a tough job Moms have of raising children and managing a family. Moms need some peace and quiet away from their children from time to time. This ministry exists for the purpose of giving your child loving care combined with teaching and training in a Christian atmosphere while at the same time offering a respite for mothers.

Mothers Day Out classes are held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Class times are from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. The program begins the second week of September and concludes at the end of May.

Little Lambs: 20-29 months (Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, one day a week)

To enroll in the Lambs class your child must be at least 20 months old by the first class day. The Lambs classes meet once each week. The focus of this class is happily separating from parents, socializing with peers and playing cooperatively.

Bouncing Bunnies: 30-39 months ( Tuesday & Thursday, two days a week)

To enroll in the Bunnies class your child must be at least 30 months old by the first class day. The Bunnies class meets twice each week. The focus of this class is happily separating from parents, socializing with peers, playing cooperatively, identifying shapes and colors, and counting from 1-5. Teachers will encourage increasing use of the toilet during program days to aid in training.

 

Funny Frogs: 40-49 months (Tuesday & Thursday, two days a week)

To enroll in the Frogs class your child must be at least 40 months old and toilet trained by the first class day. The Frogs class meets twice each week. The focus of this class is happily separating from parents, socializing with peers, playing cooperatively, identifying shapes and colors, counting from 1-10, Bible memory, and printed name recognition.

 

Pre-K Kangaroos: 50-59 months (Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday, three days a week)

To enroll in the Kangaroos class your child must be at least 50 months old and toilet trained by the first class day. The Kangaroos class meets three times each week. The focus of this class is kindergarten readiness to include: playing cooperatively, identifying shapes and colors, counting from 1-20, Bible memory, identifying letters and sounds, writing name and numerals.
